Cono is a leading partner in the export of sustainably grown chickpeas, beans and chia seeds.

High quality agricultural products from the fertile plains of Argentina

At Cono, we focus on growing a variety of high quality and sustainably grown pulses such as chickpeas, beans and dry peas, as well as chia seeds and other healthy food crops. In addition to our specialty crops, we also produce commodities for the domestic market. Pulses have many benefits – they’re nutritious, affordable, and versatile in cooking. High in plant-based protein and dietary fibre, pulses are also an excellent source of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, and they are low in fat. Their nutritional benefits together with their affordability and long storage life mean pulses can play a key role in closing the future protein gap. Pulses also take less energy to grow and have a lower carbon footprint than many other crops. Plus they are a valuable addition to crop-rotation and help enrich the soil with their nitrogen-fixing ability. Put another way, growing pulses doesn’t cost the earth - one more reason why we like them so much!

Sustainably grown agricultural products

Most of our food is grown on our own farms, located in the fertile plains of the provinces of Cordoba and Santiago del Estero, in the north of the country. These extensive areas provide ideal growing conditions for our crops. Expertise gained over the years, allied with the deployment of the latest technology, help us to deliver homogeneous, top quality and sustainably grown agricultural products. In addition, we also work with a trusted network of farmers across Argentina and neighboring countries to source high quality products as raw material for the food industry.

Cono cares about quality and customer service as well as our environment. We’re committed to providing premium quality agricultural products that are fully traceable and responsibly grown. All our speciality products are non-GMO. We are also able to offer some of these products in organic form.
